Since its inception in 2001, the Grand Barista Championship (GBC) has created an ever growing interest in the coffee industry not just throughout Australia, but Asia as well. The event has also brought world class baristas from Asia to compete in the Australasian final each year. This year Danes Gourmet Coffee has decided to help grow the industry in other parts of the world by allowing Thailand to host this year's Australasian final. The Australian GBC champion will then be flown over to Thailand to compete against Asia's best barista for the 'Australasian Grand Barista Champion' crown. Register at www.danes.com.au
